We are seeking an AI Architect to design and implement AI/ML architectures supporting FEMA 's cloud, analytics, and mission systems. The person in this position will integrate AI services with FEMA's enterprise architecture and data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect AI/ML pipelines, MLOps processes, and cloud-based model deployment. Evaluate AI platforms such as AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, and GCP Vertex. Lead responsible AI, model governance, and bias/risk mitigation practices. Support use case development, prototyping, and technical evaluation. Collaborate with Data Engineers, PMs, and Cloud Architects to integrate AI capabilities.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of work experience with similar responsibilities. Strong background in ML engineering and distributed systems. Proficiency with Python, ML frameworks, and cloud ML services. Understanding of federal data privacy and security requirements.
Education and Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Analytics, Cloud AI/ML certifications preferred.
Clearance Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship. Priority considerations for FEMA Public Trust Clearance or DHS Public Trust in the last three years. Active Public Trust, or the ability to obtain.
