Open Position Overview Quantum Science Solutions (QSS) is seeking a Data Scientist to support advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and data visualization initiatives within a mission-focused environment. The ideal candidate will possess experience with Python, SQL, Tableau, AI/ML methodologies, and data pipeline development while supporting language, learning, talent, and human resource-related analytic efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Python and SQL Developer to extract, transform, and load data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• Apply advanced analytics and AI/ML techniques to address complex operational and talent-related questions.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau and Tableau Prep.
• Develop user-friendly reports, graphs, charts, and briefing materials for leadership and client audiences.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to support data analysis and executive briefings.
• Evaluate AI models, including Large Language Models (LLMs), and recommend improvements or alternative solutions.
• Assist in collecting and integrating data from multiple sources while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Consult with stakeholders to clarify analytic requirements and communicate findings effectively. Required Skills & Experience
• Demonstrated experience using Python and SQL Developer for data extraction, transformation, formatting, and loading (ETL).
• Experience working with data pipelines and data integration processes.
• Experience identifying and obtaining datasets needed to support analytic requests.
• Experience performing advanced analytics, including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning methodologies.
• Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Tableau Prep.
• Experience creating easy-to-understand reports and dashboards for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analytics and briefing presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Desired Skills
• Experience working in cloud and data lake environments.
• Experience evaluating and implementing AI/ML models.
• Experience supporting language, learning, and/or HR-related data initiatives.
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience using JIRA.
• Experience consulting with clients to clarify business and analytic requirements. Preferred Certifications
