3+ Years of Industry Experience Position Summary We are seeking a Systems Verification Scientist III to support the development, testing, and verification of advanced flow cytometry and cell analysis systems . This hands-on position combines laboratory testing, scientific data analysis, system-level troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience with system-level testing and troubleshooting or an immunology/immune biology background with hands-on flow cytometry experience . Experience working with human blood or biological samples is required, and medical device experience is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Design, plan, and execute experiments to evaluate system performance and verify product requirements. Develop and execute test methods, verification protocols, test strategies, and experimental plans . Perform system-level testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of complex systems. Operate, test, and troubleshoot flow cytometry instruments and applications . Prepare, handle, and analyze human blood, blood products, and other biological samples in a BSL-2 laboratory environment. Analyze and interpret scientific and engineering data using statistical methods and scientific principles. Document test results, risks, issues, and conclusions through technical reports and design reviews. Lead small- to medium-sized verification protocols or technical initiatives. Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and other engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues. Apply systems thinking and independent judgment to troubleshoot problems and improve products and processes. Follow applicable design control, quality, biosafety, and workplace safety requirements . Support cross-functional product development activities and communicate technical findings effectively. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biology, Immunology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering , or a related scientific/engineering discipline. 3+ years of industry experience in system development, integration, testing, verification, validation, or related technical areas. Hands-on experience with flow cytometry operation, applications, and troubleshooting , OR strong immune biology/immunology experience with flow cytometry. Experience preparing and handling human blood, blood products, or other biological samples in a Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) laboratory. Experience designing experiments and analyzing, interpreting, and presenting scientific data. Working knowledge of statistics and data analysis . Strong system-level troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand multidisciplinary systems involving optics, lasers, fluidics, electromechanical components, software, algorithms, and biological/immunological components . Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, collaborative environment . Preferred Qualifications Experience in the medical device, biotechnology, life sciences, or diagnostics industry . Experience with systems verification and validation (V&V) . Experience developing formal verification protocols and test methods . Familiarity with medical device design controls and regulated quality systems . Experience working with flow cytometry-based medical devices or cell analysis platforms . Experience with risk-based testing and technical documenta
