Job Description
Top Requirements Strong financial acumen and project/program controls Resource planning and reconciliation experience Large-scale program experience Excellent communication and cross-functional stakeholder engagement skills Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules, forecasts, and cash-flow plans . Partner with Project Managers and functional teams to establish project plans, milestones, and deliverables. Monitor project cost, schedule, risks, and financial performance . Prepare and maintain monthly/weekly forecasts, budgets, cost reports, and variance analysis . Identify cost and schedule variances and recommend corrective actions. Manage project orders from inception through completion, including documentation and closeout. Support Advance Authorizations, Job Estimates, Re-Authorizations, change orders, contingency releases, and journal entries . Maintain project documentation, status reports, risk logs, change logs, and financial records. Prepare project performance reports, scorecards, budget reports, and cycle forecast reports for management. Analyze financial results and explain significant cost drivers to Project Management leadership. Validate weekly and monthly datasets and ensure reporting accuracy. Support ad-hoc financial and project controls analysis. Participate in or lead process improvement initiatives . Collaborate with Project Managers, Finance, Engineering, Planning, Construction, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Ensure compliance with applicable Utility Operations policies, standards, and guidelines. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 8+ years of related project controls/project management experience for external candidates. Alternatively, 7 years as a Project Controls Analyst or applicable PG&E experience. CAPM or PMP certification required. Strong experience in project controls, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling . Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
