The Oracle ERP Data Conversion Specialist is responsible for loading data from legacy systems into Oracle Cloud ERP and collaborates with functional users and other data conversion team members to execute the conversion strategy and ensure that all objects are loaded correctly and accurately. This is a 6 month contractor role.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Execute tasks in support of the data migration strategy, working closely with the functional, conversion, and development teams and leads. Conduct data mapping sessions with functional/technical users. Provide guidance on data cleansing. Utilize existing Oracle ERP import formats to transform historical data and load into Oracle HCM. Ensure error handling, logging mechanisms, and troubleshooting capabilities are in place for conversion failures. Validate the migrated data to ensure that it is correct, complete, and consistent with the source data. Create validation/reconciliation reports. Collaborate with all stakeholders to support unit testing, SIT, UAT, and post-go-live validation. Adhere to data conversion best practices All other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology, or a related field, preferred. 5+ years utilizing the various Oracle conversion/import methods including FDBI, HDL, ADFDI, Oracle Visual Builder Addin for Excel, and Import Objects. 5+ years working with Oracle Cloud ERP Strong proven hands-on experience in the following conversion objects; Customers, AR Invoices, AP Invoices, Project Tasks, Contract Lines, Project Contract Billing, Suppliers, Banks. Functional knowledge of the modules which data is being converted into, including but not limited to core Financials, AP, AR, PPM, and HCM (core HR OTL, Payroll, Absences). Technical knowledge and hands-on experience of Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM. Technical knowledge of the underlying/supporting interface, error, processing, and validation tables. Relevant Oracle certifications (if available) are a plus but not required. Familiarity with the staffing industry, preferably within the Healthcare sector, is highly desirable. Strong hands-on experience in creating PLSQL query, packages, and Stored Procedure to develop conversion scripts to load flat files in the specific format into HDL andFBDI SKILLS
Strong technical and analytical skills required Effective communication skills to explain conversion concepts and solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the comfort and ability to present to both functional and technical stakeholders. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
