This role will leverage internal and external data to visualize the appropriate KPI's, and deliver actionable insight that bring value to our stakeholders. Job Responsibilities Work with stakeholders to learn business objectives in order to establish appropriate KPI's Partner with analytic engineers and data engineers to source, clean, & transform necessary data Build and maintain cards and dashboards to tell a story with data, using clear and concise visualization Be a consumer of the reports, monitor them and know when trends shift Complete both planned and ad-hoc analysis requests for stakeholders across the enterprise Perform exploratory data analysis to correlate business drivers with shifts in KPI's Write clean, efficient SQL queries to extract and analyze data Responsible for applying best BI practices with visualization, KPI definitions, and basic statistical principals Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in BI Development Bachelor's degree in quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science Experience in a BI tool is required (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy, etc.) Knowledgeable in SQL is critical, Python/R is a plus Natural curiosity with a strong business acumen (retail preferred) Ability to work fast and accurately, but with an openness to try new things & fail
