Job Description
Description Support supply planning activities within SAP IBP, including demand and supply reviews, scenario analysis, exception management, and supply commitments. Develop, maintain, and analyze supply plans supporting commercial, clinical, and non-GMP manufacturing operations. Translate demand forecasts, inventory targets, manufacturing assumptions, and capacity constraints into actionable supply plans. Partner with Operations and Manufacturing teams to ensure production schedules support on-time and in-full delivery objectives. Create rough-cut capacity plans and provide scheduling inputs to support manufacturing and supply chain decision-making. Identify and escalate supply risks, inventory constraints, capacity gaps, and data quality issues while providing recommendations for mitigation. Participate in cross-functional planning meetings, including Tier meetings, S&OE processes, and supply review discussions. Maintain and validate SAP and SAP IBP master data, including materials, locations, planning parameters, lead times, and related attributes. Support item lifecycle management and master data governance activities, including setup, modifications, approvals, and obsolescence processes. Develop planning metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor supply plan performance, inventory levels, schedule adherence, and data accuracy. Conduct ad hoc supply chain analyses related to product launches, budgeting, forecasting, inventory optimization, and risk assessments. Minimum of 7 years of supply chain planning experience. Hands-on experience with SAP IBP, supply planning processes, and SAP master data management. Experience supporting production planning, inventory planning, capacity planning, and demand-supply balancing activities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Advanced proficiency in Excel and planning/reporting tools. Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing environments. Familiarity with Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and Supply Review processes. Experience supporting clinical and commercial manufacturing supply chains. Knowledge of planning metrics, dashboard development, and supply chain performance reporting. Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cambridge, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $67.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
