Job Description
Overview The ERP Analyst plays a key role in supporting Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, and other business functions through the development, maintenance, and optimization of reporting solutions within Workday. This role is responsible for migrating legacy reports into Workday, designing new custom reports, and ensuring organizational data is accurate, consistent, and readily available for strategic decision-making. The ERP Analyst partners closely with stakeholders across departments to understand business requirements, streamline reporting processes, and deliver meaningful insights that improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields within Workday. Migrate legacy reports and reporting processes into the Workday environment while ensuring data accuracy and functionality. Partner with Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Payroll, and other business units to gather reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet operational needs. Analyze existing reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency improvements. Ensure report definitions, calculations, and business logic are documented and maintained according to company standards. Troubleshoot reporting issues and investigate data discrepancies to ensure reporting accuracy and integrity. Monitor data quality and collaborate with business stakeholders to resolve reporting and data governance concerns. Create report scheduling and distribution processes to improve timeliness and accessibility of critical business information. Provide ongoing support to end users on Workday reporting tools and capabilities. Participate in cross-functional projects focused on process improvement, system optimization, and enterprise reporting initiatives. Stay current on Workday reporting capabilities, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field. 2+ years of experience in financial, accounting, HR, business intelligence, or reporting-focused roles. Experience developing and maintaining reports within Workday. Strong understanding of financial, accounting, and operational reporting concepts. Knowledge of Workday Report Writer, Composite Reports, Matrix Reports, and Workday reporting domains. Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical reporting solutions. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization. Experience validating, reconciling, and auditing data for accuracy and consistency. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting best practices.
