What You'll Do Data Extraction :
Assist in extracting data from various sources such as databases, APIs, or flat files.
Data Cleaning :
Help with transforming raw data into a usable format by cleaning and preprocessing it.
Basic Reporting :
Generate standard reports or dashboards using BI tools like Strategy or Power BI under the guidance of more senior engineers.
SQL Queries :
Write basic SQL queries to fetch data and generate reports.
Data Integration :
Support the integration of data from multiple systems and sources.
Learning & Development :
Participate in training sessions and shadow senior engineers to learn best practices and gain practical experience.
Collaboration :
Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements.
Data Quality :
Perform quality checks on data outputs.
Documentation & Support :
Document data definitions, data flows, and logic used in reports and models. Provide support and training to business users on how to use BI tools and reports. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Participate in the design and development of departmental standards for delivery of solutions that satisfy business requirements and GxP compliance when relevant. Participate in on-call rotation and assist with after-hours issues, as required. Performs other duties as assigned. This is What it Takes Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics or related IT 3-4 years of experience in BI, data analytics, or reporting Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgre
SQL, SQL
Server, MySQL). Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills. Experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Azure). Required Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations MicroStrategy Certified Developer or MicroStrategy Certified Professional (preferred) Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (preferred) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic SQL knowledge. Familiarity with Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Strategy, etc.). Understanding of databases and data structures. Analytical mindset and attention to detail. Good communication and documentation skills. Physical Requirements Position works in-office at the corporate location Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to use a computer and other office equipment Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds Ability to reach, bend, and stoop as necessary Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to focus and concentrate on tasks for extended periods Ability to navigate the office environment safely, including stairs and elevators (if applicable) Ability to travel up to 20% via airplane or vehicle (if applicable) Ability to use assistive devices if needed for mobility or communication Do Satisfying Work.
