Job Description:

• 10-12 years overall SAP experience, with 5+ years in SAP EWM (implementation/support), including hands-on configuration and delivery ownership.
• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP EWM configuration across inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
• Expertise in warehouse structure design including warehouse numbers, storage types, activity areas, and work centers.
• Proficiency in managing Warehouse Tasks (WT), Warehouse Orders (WO), wave management, and queue determination.
• Solid working knowledge of Handling Unit (HU) management, packing, HU types, and packaging specifications.
• Experience in RF framework setup, RF menu configuration, mobile transaction execution and PPF.
• Strong integration knowledge with MM/IM, SD/LE, PP, QM and hands-on experience resolving cross-module issues.
• Demonstrated experience in S/4HANA Embedded EWM (at least one end-to-end implementation or conversion).
• Ability to create functional specifications, drive workshops, document solutions, and handle client-facing discussions.
• Experience in Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, cutover activities, and go-live/hypercare support.
• Debugging knowledge and analysis capability for understanding EWM logs, queues, PPF actions, and IDocs.
• Experience with advanced EWM functions: Slotting & Rearrangement, Labor Management, Yard Management, VAS, or Cross-Docking.
• Knowledge of EWM-TM integration, including freight order alignment and staging processes.
• Exposure to automation/MFS, barcode printing, scanners, ASRS, or 3PL system integrations.
• Familiarity with Fiori apps for warehouse operations and user experience optimization.

• $75/hr We have an urgent need for an SAP EWM Consultant for a hybrid opportunity in Durham, NC 27703.

This role is ideal for a highly experienced SAP professional who can lead warehouse management transformation initiatives and support enterprise-wide supply chain operations in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will drive end-to-end SAP Extended Warehouse Management implementations and support activities, with strong ownership of solution design, configuration, integration, testing, and go-live support. You will work extensively on inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes using SAP Extended Warehouse Management integrated with

SAP S/4HANA

environments. Responsibilities include warehouse structure setup, warehouse task and order management, wave and queue management, handling unit configuration, RF framework setup, and process optimization across warehouse operations. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design scalable warehouse solutions, conduct workshops, prepare functional specifications, and support SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare activities. The role also involves integration with MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, and automation systems, along with troubleshooting logs, IDocs, PPF actions, and warehouse execution issues. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM configuration, embedded EWM implementations, and warehouse process optimization. Expertise in RF configuration, handling units, warehouse monitoring, advanced EWM capabilities such as labor management, cross-docking, yard management, and slotting is highly valuable. Exposure to automation technologies, barcode scanners, ASRS systems, and Fiori applications for warehouse operations will be a strong advantage. Excellent client-facing communication, problem-solving ability, and experience managing end-to-end SAP delivery engagements are essential for success in this role.
