Job Description

Job Description The Senior Enterprise PACS Analyst is responsible for in-depth knowledge of assigned Enterprise PACS systems and software. There are over 15 applications supported by Enterprise PACS and Imaging. They conduct regular day-to-day communication, monitors and maintains applications, demonstrates a deep understanding of clinical operations, and works with vendors, Project Team(s), NYULMC Clinical Representatives/Subject Matter Experts, and end users to tailor the system to fit the organizations needs. The Senior Enterprise Imaging Analyst routinely performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of Enterprise PACS systems, HL7 interfaces, and DICOM; is responsible for developing and documenting the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with Radiology applications; and will design, build, test, install, train and maintain those solutions. The Senior Enterprise Imaging Analysts also supports modality connectivity to the network and applications. They support the installation of radiology applications and workstations running the radiology applications. The Senior Enterprise Imaging Analyst is expected to use critical thinking skills in providing systems solutions to meet business needs and to train and support junior analysts.
