Job Description
Job Summary:
The SAP Production Planning Analyst will provide functional and technical expertise for SAP Production Planning (PP) within an SAP ECC environment, supporting production planning, materials management, quality management, plant maintenance, and operations teams. The role is responsible for SAP configuration, integration, business analysis, requirements gathering, testing, project delivery, user support, and training. The analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, IT teams, and vendors to identify opportunities, implement technology solutions, resolve complex issues, and ensure successful delivery of ERP initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide SAP configuration and integration expertise for the SAP Production Planning (PP) module.
- Provide day-to-day functional and technical support for the
SAP ECC6
ecosystem.- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of business processes and procedures to identify and implement effective IT solutions.
- Engage business stakeholders to identify and validate technology opportunities and align solutions with business strategies.
- Define functional area roadmaps and support long-term business systems planning.
- Plan, manage, and implement projects within business systems and ERP environments.
- Gather, document, communicate, and validate business and technical requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for SAP technical teams.
- Define project schedules, milestones, phases, deliverables, resources, and project teams.
- Support project budget planning and management.
- Collaborate with users and IT peers to provide functional and technical support.
- Resolve complex user-reported SAP issues in a timely manner.
- Lead implementation of corporate and divisional technology initiatives.
- Create operational documentation and KPI metrics.
- Perform system, interface, and batch monitoring.
- Lead and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure business and system requirements are satisfied.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and training for business users and IT teams.
- Share SAP best practices and provide guidance to stakeholders and technical teams.
- Create, review, and deliver end-user documentation, including user guides, process flow charts, and training materials.
- Lead project teams and support activities throughout the systems development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- 7+ years of experience integrating business function responsibilities with business analysis expertise.
- Thorough understanding of SAP ECC and the SAP Production Planning (PP) module.
- Hands-on experience configuring SAP modules.
- Strong experience gathering requirements and translating them into functional and technical specifications for SAP technical teams.
- Knowledge of SAP PP integration with other SAP modules.
- Knowledge of application and system integration methods and computing environments.
- Experience with system, interface, and batch monitoring.
- Experience leading project teams and managing the systems development lifecycle.
- Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
