Job Description
Summary Develops impactful visualizations and reports for non-technical audiences and supports ad hoc reporting needs. Collaborates with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into well-documented deliverables and provides meaningful data to guide decision-making. Demonstrates proficiency in data extraction, validation, and manipulation to ensure accuracy and quality. •This position is eligible for a higher grade based on experience. This role is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future. •This is a hybrid role, requiring working on site in Webster, MA 3 days per week. Remote candidates will not be considered. Responsibilities Creates more complex visualizations and/or reports tailored for consumption by a non-technical audience.
Assists in developing and distributing ad hoc reporting.
Provides support in meetings to translate business needs into clearly defined, well-documented, high-quality requirements to support reporting and visualization projects.
Demonstrates a basic-to-intermediate understanding of the fundamentals of data extraction, validation, and manipulation.
Supports colleagues with a variety of tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
Collaborates with subject matter experts to effectively provide meaningful and valuable data to assist in executive decision-making.
Exercises discretion and applies critical thinking relative to analysis, planning, and/or implementation of critical business initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Analytics or related field. (MBA a plus)
2-4 years' experience or equivalent, related knowledge (•Higher level candidates will be considered based upon relevant experience / skills.)
Personal or Commercial Lines Insurance experience.
Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data querying, analysis, visualization and automation. Skilled in developing automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and reporting.
Experience with cloud platforms and data warehousing technologies.
Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
