GEMCORE is seeking an experienced and strategic BI Analyst to focus on the design, development, and delivery of reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI, relational databases, semantic models, and ad hoc data requests. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights through scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical reporting Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Power BI Build and optimize semantic models to support enterprise reporting and self-service analytics Develop complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to extract, transform, and analyze data Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, correlations, anomalies, and business opportunities Ensure data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and availability across reporting platforms Understand and analyze database relationships and data lineage across multiple systems and sources Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric solutions, including pipelines, workspaces, lakehouses, warehouses, semantic models, and related artifacts is preferred Assist with data platform security and access management within Microsoft Fabric Support end users through training, troubleshooting, documentation, and ongoing technical assistance Recommend and implement best practices related to reporting, data modeling, performance optimization, and data governance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Minimum of 7 years of experience as a BI Analyst, Business Intelligence Developer, or Data Analyst Expert-level proficiency with Power BI, including report development, DAX, and data modeling Strong experience designing and managing semantic models for enterprise reporting solutions Advanced SQL skills with expertise writing complex queries Strong understanding of relational database concepts and database design Working knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehousing Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory Pipelines, and Semantic Models Experience integrating and managing data from multiple sources and enterprise systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills
