Competitive Intelligence Analyst Franklin, TN On-site The Competitive Intelligence Analyst supports the delivery of standardized reporting, analytics, and insights that enable consistent decision-making across the organization. This role exists to translate data into repeatable insights, maintain core reporting processes, and contribute to the development of thought leadership and best practices.\ What are we looking for? Bachelor's degree required MBA or advanced degree preferred 2 years of experience in analytics, insights, category management, or related field Strong analytical and data management skills Strong communication and presentation skills Experience with Excel and exposure to BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Ability to structure analysis and communicate findings clearly Strong business acumen Strong attention to detail and process orientation Ability to manage recurring tasks and multiple deadlines Preferred qualifications: Experience working in CPG, pet care, and a matrixed global organization What would be your key responsibilities? Maintain and continuously improve periodic reporting and dashboards, incorporating automation and new tools (e.g., AI) to drive efficiency Produce standardized Flywheel and portfolio performance reports with clear written analysis and implications Support key signature processes (e.g., Flywheel, IVCP, white space evaluation) through data preparation, analysis, and reporting Execute ad hoc analyses to identify performance drivers, opportunities, and risks across brands and categories Build and maintain competitive intelligence tracking to inform benchmarking and best practices Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials with a focus on future category trends and growth opportunities Support webinar development and content creation for sharing insights across the organization Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and documentation of methodologies and assumptions Collaborate with remainder of IGS to refine outputs and identify next steps for deeper analysis Identify process improvements and opportunities to enhance reporting automation and scalability What can you expect from Mars?
