Job Description

Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced EDI Administrator to join our team. This is a full-time position focused 100% on EDI administration, playing a crucial role in our company's growth and the expansion of our EDI capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily management of our EDI processes, onboarding new partners, and ensuring the seamless flow of transactional data.
Key Responsibilities EDI Operations:
Perform ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting of EDI transactional errors. Manage and maintain existing data pipelines to ensure data integrity and flow.
Partner Onboarding:
Lead the project management of onboarding new EDI customers. This includes gathering requirements, enabling, testing, validating, and transitioning to a production environment.
Process Improvement:
Help create and implement structure and documentation around our ad-hoc onboarding processes to improve efficiency.
Collaboration:
Interface directly with internal teams, including Customer Service and Operations, as well as with external customers and programmers. This role ensures accurate, timely, and reliable exchange of business documents between internal systems and trading partners. The position owns EDI issue resolution, partner onboarding, transaction testing, documentation, and coordination with customers, vendors, service providers, and internal business teams.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Monitor inbound and outbound EDI transactions, queues, acknowledgments, alerts, and exceptions to support timely and accurate processing.
  • Investigate and resolve failed, delayed, duplicate, or rejected transactions; perform root-cause analysis and coordinate corrective action with internal teams, trading partners, and EDI vendors.
  • Administer EDI trading partner profiles, communication settings, document configurations, schedules, business rules, and related master data within approved controls.
  • Lead onboarding of new trading partners from requirements gathering through configuration, mapping coordination, connectivity, testing, certification, production deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Coordinate testing and validation of order, acknowledgment, shipment, invoice, inventory, warehouse, and other supported business-document flows, including functional and regression testing.
  • Review partner implementation guides and specifications; translate business requirements into mapping, integration, and configuration requirements for internal teams and vendors.
  • Partner with Customer Service, Sales, Finance, Operations, Shipping, Receiving, Planning, and Information Technology to resolve transaction issues and improve end-to-end business processes.
  • Maintain integrations among the EDI platform and ERP systems; coordinate mapping and interface changes using documented testing and change-control practices.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
  • PTO - Employees get PTO at the beginning of each calendar year. New hires receive a pro-rated amount based on their start date. New hires get 80 hours. (If we need to make an exception for 120 hours for this role, we can.)
  • Sick days - Employees get 4 sick days at the beginning of calendar year for themselves or to care for a family member. Unused sick time can be rolled over from year to year, up to a maximum of 20 days.
  • 401k - Employees are eligible to participate on the 1st day of the month after 90 days of employment.
Our plan is with Principal. There is a company match of 100% of deferrals up to 3% of pay, plus 50% of deferrals between 3% and 5% of pay. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
