onsite Local candidates: onsite 3-4 days/week Non-local candidates: travel required/approved Fly in Monday by noon Depart Thursday afternoon Project Overview We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM Consultant for a new project starting September 21st (with a potential early start on September 14th) through December 11th. This is a full-time engagement (40 hours per week) covering the full project lifecycle from design and build to go-live, as well as data conversion. Scope of Work- Lead design, build, and go-live activities for Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM.
- Execute data conversion initiatives, moving historical and open data out of legacy systems into Fusion to establish accurate starting balances.
- Onsite presence is preferred for candidates local to the Bay Area (3-4 days per week). For non-local candidates, travel is approved (fly in Monday by noon, depart Thursday afternoon). Required Skills & Experience Core Oracle PPM
- Hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM implementation and support experience, ideally 3+ full lifecycle projects.
- Deep Project Costing configuration: project types, templates, expenditure types and categories, costing rules, burdening and burden schedules, cost distribution, and accounting rules.
- Capital projects expertise: CIP tracking, capitalizable vs. expensed cost handling, asset assignment, and capitalization events.
- Project Foundation setup: organizations, project unit and business unit structure, resource breakdown structures, and project calendars.
- Working knowledge of adjacent PPM areas (Project Billing, Project Control, budgets, and forecasts). Real Estate & Lease Accounting
- Oracle Fusion Real Estate Management or Lease Accounting experience, including lease creation, payment schedules, and Right-of-Use (ROU) asset generation.
- Solid understanding of ASC 842 and IFRS 16 compliance, specifically how lease liability and ROU asset postings flow to General Ledger and Assets.
- Property and space configuration, lease amendments, terminations, and renewals. Fixed Assets
- Oracle Fusion Assets configuration and management.
- Experience integrating Projects and Payables, including the Projects-to-Assets interface.
- Full asset lifecycle management: additions, transfers, adjustments, retirements, revaluation, and period close.
- Demonstrated ability to reconcile Fixed Assets to the General Ledger and Project Costing balances.
