Position Overview CCG is seeking an experienced SAP Concur Expense and Request Consultant to support the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) ETSNext program. ETSNext will deliver a single travel and expense (T&E) managed service for all federal civilian employees, enabling the mission of 124 government agencies through an intuitive and secure customer experience while mitigating transition cost and risk. As the third generation of the E-Gov Travel Service program, ETSNext will support federal travel and expense management for the next 15 years. In this client-facing role, you will lead discussions on SAP Concur Travel and Expense business processes, provide expertise on expense processes and policies, shape design requirements and new functional capabilities, develop functional specifications, and support configuration and integration testing.
Responsibilities Client Engagement:
Lead client discussions related to SAP Concur Travel and Expense processes, serving as the primary business process advisor to GSA stakeholders.
Design Leadership:
Facilitate design workshops and requirements-gathering sessions to define design requirements, new functional capabilities, and process enhancements.
Expense Process and Policy Expertise:
Provide subject matter expertise on federal expense processes and policies, including Federal Travel Regulations and the government credit card clearing process.
Functional Specifications:
Translate business needs into functional specifications and requirements documentation that drive Concur Expense and Request configuration.
Configuration and Testing Support:
Support Concur Expense and Request configuration testing, system testing, and integration testing, including defect identification, triage, and resolution.
System Integration:
Support the integration of Concur Expense with ERP, HR, and adjacent applications, including TripIt, ExpenseIt, and fraud detection, risk, and duty of care platforms.
Change Impact Analysis:
Assess how process and configuration changes affect travelers, approving managers, and system administrators, and help the program plan for those impacts. Required Skills and Experience 7+ years of Concur Travel and Expense implementation experience. Certified Concur Travel Implementation and Configuration. In-depth knowledge of Concur configuration across travel, expense, and reporting. Experience integrating Concur Expense with ERP, HR, and other applications, including TripIt, ExpenseIt, fraud detection, risk, and duty of care or SOS platforms. Familiarity with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and the government credit card clearing process. Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards. Demonstrated ability to lead design workshops, gather and document requirements, and support system testing, integration testing, and defect management. In-depth understanding of how system and process changes affect distinct user communities, including travelers, approving managers, and system administrators. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead client-facing discussions and present recommendations to federal stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Moderate Background Investigation (MBI) suitability determination. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience with the E-Gov Travel Service (ETS) system. Experience with the GSA Travel Reporting Tool. Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent certifications. Advanced degree (MS/PhD) strongly preferred. Clearance Requirements U.S. Citizenship. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Moderate Background Investigation (MBI) suitability determination and complete all required onboarding and background investigation processes. Work Location Remote. Candidates local to Reston, VA are preferred, and non-local remote candidates will be considered. Travel is not expected for this position; where travel is required, travel and lodging are paid. Compensation The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
