Short term The ideal candidate should have: Strong understanding of manufacturing planning and scheduling processes Experience with SAP Plan-to-Make (PTM) processes Understanding of lead time determination Experience with configured and modelized/manufactured products Ability to troubleshoot and root-cause planning and production-related issues Experience working with business users, IT teams, and SAP COE organizations Ability to support system testing and validation after configuration changes are completed Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a business-facing role Key Responsibilities Execute and coordinate testing activities for ongoing enhancements and projects Support incident ticket management and issue resolution Partner with business, IT, and COE teams to troubleshoot operational issues Assist with business process validation and user acceptance testing Support process documentation and user training as needed Help maintain continuity while Generac transitions a team member into a new role Nice-to-Have Experience Manufacturing industry background Operations planning Production scheduling SAP PP/PTM-related business process experience Global process ownership or COE support experience Candidate Profile I would prioritize candidates who have served as: SAP PTM Business Analyst Manufacturing Planning SME Production Planning Lead SAP PP Functional Consultant with strong business-process focus Supply Chain / Operations Process Lead
