Tennessee / Hybrid Onsite Job Summary We are looking for an Enterprise Data Governance Consultant to help state agencies establish and improve their data governance programs. The consultant will work with business, technical, privacy, security, and compliance teams to ensure data is properly managed, protected, and used effectively.
Key Responsibilities Key Qualifications:
Data Governance & Data Management 4 6 years of experience supporting data governance, data management, and enterprise information management. Public Sector Experience 4 6 years working with state government, local government, or public-sector programs .
DAMA-DMBOK
& Data Stewardship 4 6 years of familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK, data stewardship, metadata management, and data governance practices . AI Governance 4 6 years of familiarity with AI governance concepts, responsible AI principles, and AI governance frameworks . Training & Presentations 4 6 years developing and delivering training, workshops, presentations, and job aids . Governance Committees 4 6 years supporting governance councils, committees, working groups, or similar forums . Enterprise Data Catalogs 4 6 years of experience with enterprise data catalogs, metadata, business glossaries, and data inventory/information management tools . Certifications Relevant certifications are desirable but not required , such as CDMP, ProSci/Prosci , or similar certifications.
