Job Description
Description Amazon Worldwide Fulfillment (AWF) supports Amazon's strategic vision of bringing worldwide cross-border product selection at the lowest price to our customers and helping sellers and vendors (manufacturers, distributors and brand owners) navigate international trade and logistics. We design and build products and programs with a focus on customer, seller, and vendor experience, and global scalability. Key job responsibilities 1. Write high quality optimized SQL to retrieve and analyze data from relational databases (ex. Redshift) 2. Collaborate with other Business Intelligence teams to design and implement ETL data pipelines for extracting and analyzing billions of records from multiple databases. 3. Work closely with Data Engineers and business users to design clean and scalable data sources required for analytics and reporting. 4. Work closely with data scientists and product management to drive data-driven improvements to science artifacts 5. Create user-friendly, repeatable reporting solutions to minimize ad hoc customer requests 6. Define and develop business-critical metrics, reports, key performance indicators, and financials across all forecasting products that are consumable by a wide range of functions and levels. A day in the life In a normal day, the Exports Visibility BIE will work close with stakeholders to define metrics, validate data, build consensus and document the definitions. They will work building dashboards, AI automation tools, custom ad-hoc queries and aligning expectations across multiple teams. About the team AWF works directly with logistics cross-border carriers and partner with several stakeholder teams to constantly improve the international delivery experience. In AWF, the Exports Visibility team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team in Bellevue. GM Exports is growing rapidly in scope, scale and complexity

- 5+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- 3+ years of SQL, ETL or Oracle experience
- 3+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience
- 3+ years of performing statistical analysis experience
- 3+ years of developing automated reporting experience
- 3+ years of in the job offered or a related occupation experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Experience creating processes and improving tools that have measurably improved productivity, quality, or advertiser experience
