The Morning Star Company Full Stack Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Developer Woodland, CA No Relocation; No Sponsorship About the Company The Morning Star Company and its affiliates operate three tomato processing facilities in Central California, processing about 40% of the California processing tomato crop, in addition to tomato growing, transplanting, farming, harvesting and trucking operations. The company employs approximately 500 year-round and over 3,000 seasonal colleagues, with annual sales of about $1 billion. The Morning Star Company is the largest producer of bulk tomato ingredient products (tomato paste and diced tomatoes) in the world. Position Summary We're seeking a Full Stack Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise analytics solutions across the Microsoft Fabric platform. This role owns the entire analytics lifecycle, from data ingestion and transformation to semantic modeling, dashboard development, and business adoption. The ideal candidate combines strong data engineering, business intelligence, and stakeholder engagement skills and can independently deliver scalable analytics solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making. This individual will need frequent, easy access to our Woodland location (within 45 minutes). Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Microsoft Fabric solutions including Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Factory pipelines, Notebooks, and Semantic Models. Build and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and executive scorecards. Design dimensional data models and enterprise semantic layers. Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric, SQL. Integrate data from ERP, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, customer service, and operational systems. Partner directly with colleagues to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Implement data governance, security, and performance optimization best practices. Support enterprise reporting modernization initiatives. Required Qualifications 5+ years of Business Intelligence or Analytics development experience. 3+ years of Power BI development experience. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric. Strong SQL development and data modeling skills. Experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines. Proficiency in DAX and Power Query. Experience developing and supporting semantic models. Preferred Qualifications Fabric Lakehouse and Warehouse architecture. Notebook development Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Azure DevOps. Manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or operational analytics experience. Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer or Power BI certifications.

$100,000 - $145,000 DOE Ideal Candidate This is not a report-writer role. The successful candidate should be comfortable building end-to-end analytics solutions, including: Source Systems → Fabric Pipelines → Lakehouse/Warehouse → Semantic Models → Power BI Dashboards and translating business requirements into scalable, self-service analytics solutions.
