This is a contract position for a Power BI Developer based in Tallahassee, Florida, with a duration of 12 months. Responsibilities Assess the current data environment and data structures to identify required transformations prior to dashboard and report development Partner with leadership to develop an enterprise reporting roadmap Review existing reports with business users and recommend improvements based on evolving needs Collaborate with developers and end users to automate data transformation and reduce dependency on Excel-based pivot analysis Read and document WebFOCUS and Mainframe FOCUS queries and convert them into T-SQL Work with database administrators to design and implement database views and stored procedures to support reporting needs Build and maintain Power BI dataflows and reusable datasets Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve reporting data models Administer a dedicated Power BI workspace, including security, publishing, and organization Qualifications Proficiency with Power BI development, including dataflows, datasets, and workspace administration Experience with T-SQL and database design, including views and stored procedures Knowledge of WebFOCUS and Mainframe FOCUS query languages Experience with financial data analysis and reporting Ability to communicate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
