Job Description
$70 - $75 A public-sector organization in Massachusetts is looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator Developer to support critical enterprise initiatives. This is a contract opportunity through June 2027, with the potential for annual renewal, requiring just one day per week onsite in Everett, MA. The team is looking for a Salesforce professional with strong experience across Salesforce Development, OmniStudio, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Experience Cloud, integrations, and Salesforce architecture. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work on large-scale Salesforce initiatives where they can influence how the platform is designed not simply take requirements and build tickets. You'll work closely with business and technical stakeholders, evaluate existing solutions, improve application architecture, and build scalable solutions that support long-term organizational goals. The ideal person is someone who can balance configuration and development, challenge existing approaches when needed, and bring a strong architectural mindset to complex Salesforce projects.
Contract Duration:
Through June 2027, with option to renew annually- Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of Salesforce development experience
- 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce OmniStudio experience
- Strong experience developing complex Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Strong Apex development experience
- Experience with Experience Cloud
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external applications using
REST/SOAP
APIs, middleware, and asynchronous technologies- Experience with Salesforce Classic to Lightning migration
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, scalability, and best practices
- Experience with CI/CD, Salesforce CLI (SFDX), and Git-based version control
- Experience with
WCAG 2.1
accessibility standards- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

- Experience supporting K-12 or public-sector organizations
- Experience evaluating and enhancing vendor-developed Salesforce solutions
- Strong understanding of configuration vs. customization and Salesforce best practices

- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise Salesforce solutions
- Build complex solutions using OmniStudio, Apex, and Lightning Web Components
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external applications
- Support Salesforce architecture and long-term platform strategy
- Evaluate existing and vendor-delivered solutions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand the underlying business need behind requirements
- Support Salesforce Classic to Lightning modernization efforts
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, intuitive, and accessible
- Follow Salesforce development best practices and established CI/CD processes
