IDR is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Lansing, MI. This role involves supporting government-driven projects within the Salesforce platform, emphasizing custom development, integrations, and automation to meet state agency requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to design and implement scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview for the

Senior Salesforce Developer:

Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions utilizing Salesforce development best practices.

Develop and maintain Apex code including triggers, batch jobs, queueable jobs, and scheduled processes.

Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support modern user experiences.

Design and implement integrations using

REST/SOAP

APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and related technologies.

Develop automated business processes utilizing Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, and Formula Fields.

Requirements for the

Senior Salesforce Developer:

3-5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Platform Development experience (in the US)

Must have prior experience supporting a State/Government project

Strong expertise with: Apex Development (Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex); Lightning Web Components (LWC);

SOQL/SOSL

; Salesforce DX (SFDX); REST and

SOAP API

integrations; Platform Events; Named Credentials; Salesforce Security Model (Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, OWD); Salesforce Flows and Process Automation; Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines

Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and platform architecture

Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
