Job Summary

The Senior Salesforce Developer will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions supporting government-driven projects and state agency requirements. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Apex development, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce integrations, automation, security, Salesforce DX, source control, and CI/CD. The developer will collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable Salesforce solutions while following platform architecture and development best practices. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Salesforce development best practices.
  • Develop and maintain Apex code, including triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex, and other platform processes.
  • Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support modern user experiences.
  • Design and implement integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and related Salesforce technologies.
  • Develop automated business processes using Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, and Formula Fields.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce technical solutions.
  • Apply Salesforce platform architecture principles and ensure solutions operate within governor limits.
  • Implement Salesforce security using Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, and Organization-Wide Defaults (OWD).
  • Support Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce development and deployments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with state agency needs. Required Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Platform Development experience in the United States.
  • Prior experience supporting a State or Government project.
  • Strong expertise in Apex development, including Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Scheduled Apex.
  • Strong experience developing Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Proficiency with SOQL and SOSL.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX (SFDX).
  • Strong experience with REST and
SOAP API

integrations.

  • Experience with Platform Events and Named Credentials.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce Security Model, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, and OWD.
  • Experience with Salesforce Flows and process automation.
  • Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and platform architecture.
  • Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
