Job Description
Job Summary Our client, a leading communications provider, is seeking a Software/BI Developer to join their team! This position is an ongoing contract role, hybrid 4 days a week onsite in St. Louis, Missouri. This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role. Core Responsibilities Design, build, and operate ingestion and transformation pipelines into an analytical data lake Model data and define trustworthy, reusable metrics in a semantic layer; ensure every metric traces to the source of truth Develop and maintain full-stack data applications that serve metrics directly from the semantic layer Deliver executive- and operator-facing dashboards and reports including monthly/quarterly operational reviews Own the platform: containerized deployment (k3s/Helm), highly-available databases (PostgreSQL HA), CI/CD pipelines, release promotion, and post-deploy validation Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Full stack development experience (modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework + a Python web framework) Strong SQL and Python skills for ELT/ETL pipeline development GitHub/GitLab experience CI/CD experience (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.) BI/dashboarding experience (Tableau or similar tool) Data modeling/semantic-layer experience Relational database operations experience Data governance fundamentals:
