OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As a Senior Qlik Sense Platform Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, performance, and optimization of the Qlik Sense platform within a high-impact Life Sciences and Healthcare environment. This role demands deep technical expertise, proactive troubleshooting abilities, and a strong commitment to delivering seamless user experiences. Your contributions will directly support critical business intelligence initiatives, enabling data-driven decision-making and advancing the company s objectives. Job Summary As a Qlik Sense Infrastructure Support Engineer , you will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, support, maintenance, and optimization of Qlik Sense environments that enable enterprise reporting, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities. You will ensure platform availability, performance, security, and scalability while supporting business users, developers, and data teams. The role involves platform administration, incident management, upgrades, performance tuning, security management, and collaboration with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to deliver reliable analytics services. Key Responsibilities Administer, monitor, and maintain Qlik Sense environments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production.

Support Qlik Sense Server, Qlik Management Console (QMC), and Qlik Sense Enterprise platforms.

Monitor system availability, application performance, reload schedules, and platform health.

Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, application failures, reload errors, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.

Manage user access, authentication mechanisms, security rules, and role-based permissions.

Support application deployment, migration, patching, and upgrade activities.

Collaborate with Qlik developers and business users to resolve infrastructure and platform-related issues.

Monitor and optimize platform capacity, resource utilization, and scalability.

Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring incidents.

Manage incidents, service requests, changes, and problem records through ServiceNow while ensuring SLA compliance.

Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability configurations.

Maintain operational documentation, support runbooks, architecture diagrams, and knowledge articles.

Participate in platform modernization, automation, and cloud migration initiatives.

Provide on-call support and assist with critical incident management activities. Monitoring & Performance Management Experience with: Dynatrace Splunk Grafana Qlik Monitoring Applications Windows Performance Monitor Ability to analyze logs, monitor system performance, and perform root cause analysis. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex platform issues.

Experience supporting enterprise-scale analytics and reporting environments.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors.

Experience working in global support and delivery environments.

Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Qlik Sense Administrator Certification or related BI platform certifications are preferred.

Exposure to data governance, data warehousing, and enterprise analytics ecosystems is desirable.

Experience supporting Healthcare, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Financial Services, or regulated industry environments is preferred.

Exposure to cloud-based analytics platforms, AI-driven analytics, and self-service BI solutions is an added advantage.
