Job Description

The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of mission-critical enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) reports. Working with cross-functional teams, you will participate to gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs. Using your skills and experience as a BI Report Developer, you will then use those requirements to design, develop, test and implement reports and dashboards that utilize the underlying data store(s)/ data warehouse(s) / data mart(s).

Monday
  • Friday 8am
  • 5pm EST in office for the first 90 days and then hybrid schedule option
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources. Transition developed reports and dashboards to the Operations & Support team Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes Complete all required training applicable to this position Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position
Qualifications:
5+ years' experience developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards, including : Working with users in a requirements analysis role Extensive experience with data warehouse implementations Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional) BA/BS in Computer Science or related field is preferable. Equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered 3+ years of experience and proficiency in RDBMS technology Experience in Microsoft BI stack with Power
BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS
Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI) Experience with complex T-SQL Knowledge of Data Warehousing Methodology and best practices, Kimball preferred. Experience and familiarity with the following: MS Office Products, MS CRM, MS Project, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, and MS Team Foundation Server (TFS). Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents. The ability to effectively present information to IT management, technical groups, and/or project teams.
Compensation and Benefits :
The expected pay range for this position is $67,770
  • $84,713/year Paid Time Off (PTO)

This position operates in a professional office environment. It is representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee will experience low to moderate noise levels and moderate interruptions. The workspace is well-lit and climate controlled.
