Job Description
Robert Half is supporting a client in the packaging and container manufacturing industry seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to help support and enhance their enterprise reporting environment. This individual will work through an existing backlog of reporting requests, enhancements, and fixes, with a strong focus on improving reporting accuracy, performance, and usability.
Work through an existing backlog of reporting requests, enhancements, and fixes.
Create and troubleshoot DAX measures, calculations, and reporting logic.
Work with Power BI User-Defined Functions (UDFs).Identify and resolve report performance and refresh issues.
Support Power BI reporting using Databricks as a primary data source.
Work within a broader Microsoft Fabric environment.
Troubleshoot third-party integrations impacting reporting.
Support large-scale Excel exports from Power BI, ensuring exported data is accurate and usable.
Validate reports and underlying numbers to identify discrepancies and improve confidence in reporting accuracy.
Review existing reports and recommend improvements to design, formatting, usability, and functionality.
Work with existing Power BI data models and relationships as needed.
Partner with internal teams responsible for Databricks, ETL, and data transformation, while remaining primarily focused on Power BI and front-end reporting.
