Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) Solution Architect / Developer / Engineer to support our federal customer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of HR service management solutions within a dynamic IT environment. This pivotal role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, scalable, and efficient architectures that enhance HR operations and deliver exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, solution architecture principles, and a passion for transforming HR service delivery through cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design and deployment of ServiceNow HRSD solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices in solution architecture. Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Develop comprehensive architecture diagrams, integration strategies, and technical documentation to support solution deployment and ongoing enhancements. Implement automation workflows using ServiceNow's Flow Designer and IntegrationHub to streamline HR processes such as case management, onboarding, offboarding, and knowledge management. Ensure system stability by performing system tuning, performance optimization, troubleshooting issues related to software implementation, configuration management, and system administration storage management. Manage integrations with external systems databases, RESTful APIs, and other enterprise applications. Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to guarantee high-quality deliverables; provide ongoing support for software troubleshooting and system support activities. Skills Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform architecture, including HRSD modules and solution design best practices. Proficiency in scripting languages including JavaScript, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell; experience with REST APIs and API development for seamless integrations. Familiarity with database systems like MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL; expertise in T-SQL or PL/SQL for data manipulation and system support. Solid understanding of systems engineering principles including for system tuning & recovery strategies. Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls and VPNs for secure communications. Ability to implement automation solutions using scripting tools to optimize workflows across diverse IT environments; experience with configuration management tools is a plus. Demonstrated expertise in system design for high availability environments utilizing cloud or vendor provided technologies Strong background in information security practices including access controls via Azure EntraID SSO; ensuring compliance with security standards across systems. Experience supporting microservices architectures using RESTful APIs Excellent problem-solving skills in technical troubleshooting support scenarios involving performance tuning and system troubleshooting across complex environments.
