Job Description

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to support and enhance a mission-driven Salesforce environment in San Antonio, Texas. This position focuses on building scalable solutions, improving platform performance, and partnering with technical and business teams to turn operational needs into effective system capabilities. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on development experience, sound judgment around platform governance, and the ability to communicate clearly while contributing within a collaborative team setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Build, customize, and launch Salesforce solutions that support nonprofit operations, including tailored applications, workflow automation, and connected system integrations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and technical colleagues to gather needs, clarify objectives, and convert requirements into practical Salesforce designs.
  • Maintain the Salesforce platform through thoughtful configuration, performance tuning, and proactive support to promote reliability and usability.
  • Establish and follow disciplined development practices covering code quality, testing, documentation, and responsible data management.
  • Review peer development work, provide constructive feedback, and help maintain consistent technical standards across the team.
  • Evaluate new Salesforce releases and features, recommending and applying enhancements that add value to the organization.
  • Work closely with internal IT groups and outside partners to connect Salesforce with related enterprise applications and external tools.
