Job Description

All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution. Description The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for developing, configuring, enhancing, and sustaining ServiceNow-based business applications, workflows, and process automation capabilities supporting enterprise operations. The position designs and maintains scoped applications, integrates ServiceNow solutions with external enterprise systems, and supports mission workflows including task management, reporting, collaboration, and business process automation. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, system administrators, software developers, and business users to implement scalable and secure ServiceNow solutions that improve operational effectiveness and streamline organizational processes. Responsibilities Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow scoped applications, workflows, forms, and business processes Implement API and file-based integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise platforms such as SharePoint Develop reports, dashboards, workflows, and business process improvements within the ServiceNow platform Support system enhancements, troubleshooting, upgrades, sustainment activities, and deployment of new ServiceNow capabilities Required Experience / Qualifications ServiceNow scoped application development ServiceNow Workflow, Flow Designer, and process automation through JavaScript development within the ServiceNow platform Business process automation and workflow management API integrations Agile software development methodologies Security compliance and access control implementation Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or related technical discipline. Preferred Experience SharePoint integration and collaboration services Requirements gathering and process analysis Dashboard, report, and performance analytics development Enterprise content management systems Change management, service request, and task management workflows DevSecOps and CI/CD processes Certifications (Preferred) ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications CompTIA Security+ Security Clearance Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret/SCI eligibility preferred. Work Location Hybrid or on-site (TS/SCI) in Charlottesville, VA as required by contract performance
Employment Type:

Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
