Who You Are Required:

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering, physics, or an equivalent technical field. 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, or operating cryogenic systems. Strong grounding in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics at cryogenic temperatures, including low-temperature material properties. Hands-on experience with high-vacuum systems and helium leak detection. Experience safely handling cryogens such as liquid nitrogen and liquid helium. Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB, or ANSYS. Strong written and verbal communication skills . Self-starter who can drive results independently in a fast-moving environment. Able to work on-site in Denver, CO.

Preferred:

Experience designing, building, or significantly modifying dilution refrigerators or other sub-kelvin systems (ADRs, helium-3 systems). Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field. Experience with helium-3/helium-4 gas-handling systems. Experience with brazing, welding, indium seals, or other cryogenic joining and sealing methods. Background in quantum computing, scientific instrumentation, or superconducting hardware. Experience with pressure-system design under ASME or equivalent codes. Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup.

What We Offer Base Salary:

$90,000 - $120,000/yr, depending on experience and qualifications, plus equity and performance bonus.
