Role Description The VP of Technology is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for setting and executing the organization's technology vision and strategy in alignment with business goals. This role oversees the design, development, and implementation of scalable technology solutions, ensuring that platforms, infrastructure, and tools support innovation, operational excellence, and long-term growth. The VP of Technology leads and mentors cross-functional technical teams, establishes best practices, and drives continuous improvement in software delivery, security, and reliability. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with executive leadership on strategic planning, prioritizing and managing key technology initiatives and projects, and evaluating emerging technologies to inform future investments. The role also involves building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing technology budgets, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret complex data, assess risks, and make evidence-based technology decisions. Deep expertise in Information Technology, including modern architectures, cloud platforms, security practices, and enterprise systems. Proven experience in IT Strategy, shaping long-term technology roadmaps that align with organizational objectives and market trends. Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including planning, prioritizing, and delivering multiple initiatives on time and within budget. Background in Strategic Planning, with success in driving transformation, innovation, and change management across diverse teams. Extensive leadership experience in senior technology roles (e.g., Director, VP, CTO) within technology-driven or consulting organizations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and work effectively in a remote environment. Experience leading distributed, interdisciplinary teams and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture. Familiarity with AI, automation, and software engineering practices, and their application to business process optimization. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is beneficial.
