Job Description
Job Description An employer is looking for a Sr. Organization Design Consultant for one of our top Utility clients in the Nation. The Senior Consultant supports enterprise transformation initiatives by assessing organizational impacts, analyzing workforce and operating model implications, and helping leaders navigate change. Working closely with Business Area leaders, HR Business Partners, Transformation Program teams, and strategic external partners, this role contributes to organization design, operating model development, and business readiness activities. The Senior Consultant develops analyses and recommendations, facilitates stakeholder discussions, and supports implementation planning to help ensure transformation objectives are achieved while minimizing disruption to business operations and employee experience.

Essential Responsibilities:
o Support engagement with Business Area leaders and key stakeholders to understand transformation objectives, business requirements, organizational challenges, and future-state operating model needs. o Conduct workforce, role, organization design, and operating model impact analyses resulting from transformation program, process, and technology deployment decisions across impacted Business Areas. o Analyze current-state organizational structures, operating models, workforce capabilities, and business processes to identify opportunities, risks, dependencies, and future-state requirements. o Support the development of organization design and operating model recommendations, including interim- and future-state structures, roles, governance, and workforce models. o Assist in defining future-state roles, accountability frameworks, governance structures, decision-right models, and organizational capabilities required to support business objectives. o Help facilitate cross-functional working sessions with Business Areas, HR Business Partners, Transformation Program teams, and external strategic partners to assess impacts, align decisions, and support workforce readiness, sequencing, and implementation planning activities. o Develop analyses, executive presentations, and decision-support materials that communicate organizational impacts, recommendations, and transformation considerations. o Support organizational readiness, transition planning, and implementation activities to enable successful adoption of new operating models, organizational structures, and ways of working. o Track organizational impacts, risks, dependencies, decisions, and action items across transformation initiatives and support the execution of associated deliverables. https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- 4-7+ years of experience in organizational design, operating model development, workforce planning, business transformation, change management, management consulting, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of organization design principles, frameworks, methodologies, and concepts.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs, organizational change initiatives, or process and technology implementations.
- Experience developing executive-level presentations, analyses, and recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of utility processes and performance drivers.
- Experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder discussions and cross-functional working sessions
