• Digital Tools and Transformation Lead
• As the Digital Tools and Transformation Lead, you play a crucial role in enabling Engineering to deliver strategic business outcomes by providing globally consistent digital foundations, performance transparency, data-driven insight, and tool landscape adoption across Crop Science.

You drive execution excellence, accelerate transformation (e.g., franchise transitions and AI adoption), and ensure Engineering resources are focused on the highest-value work through clear metrics, standards, and fit-for-purpose governance. This role is essential in shaping the future of Engineering within Crop Science through strategic leadership and innovation. • YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• The primary responsibilities of this role, Engineering Enablement Lead, are to: + Lead the global consistency, governance, and readiness of Engineering digital tools and data, ensuring alignment with Crop Science Engineering strategy; This includes direct execution of initiatives in various regions where necessary; + Define and sustain Engineering performance management frameworks, including metrics, transparency, and capability development to drive operational excellence; + Drive the identification, development, and scaling of AI-enabled solutions to improve Engineering outcomes, efficiency, and decision-making; + Ensure continuous visibility of Engineering performance through standardized metrics, dashboards, and reporting to facilitate informed decision-making; + Improve execution efficiency through global automation, analytics, reporting, and digital enablement solutions, including engineering-specific design, knowledge management, and execution; + Lead insight and analytics development to support strategic business and franchise transitions (e.

g., Capital Allocation Teams), ensuring alignment with business objectives;

+ Define, enable, and drive adoption of the Engineering technical toolset, including training and change enablement to support workforce development;

+ Own budgeting and financial governance for Engineering systems and platforms, ensuring cross-functional and cross-divisional alignment;

+ Establish and maintain technical standards that deliver value to customers and key stakeholders while reducing complexity;

+ Build and sustain effective Engineering knowledge management to enable learning, reuse, and continuity across the organization;

+ Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the position.

• WHO YOU ARE
• Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
• Required Qualifications:
• + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; Advanced degree preferred; + 10+ years of experience across CAPEX Engineering, Digital, Data, or technology-enabled transformation in a global, matrixed environment; + Proven ability to connect technical and digital capabilities to business strategy, value creation, and performance outcomes; + Experience leading enterprise platforms, data, analytics, automation, or AI initiatives, including governance and adoption; + Strong financial and business acumen, including budgeting, investment prioritization, and cross-functional alignment; + Capable of interfacing effectively with colleagues at senior leader and junior levels across geographies, both remotely and in-person.

• Preferred Qualifications:
• + Experience in leading strategic initiatives within large, global organizations; + Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change across diverse teams; + Experience in developing and implementing digital transformation strategies; + Strong leadership skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $143,120.00 - $214,680.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant).
