POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Governance Consultant to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal standards while supporting hybrid work delivery. Reporting to Data Governance Leadership, this role will solve critical data quality and protection challenges by coordinating cross-functional partners to strengthen data trust, asset classification, and ethical usage across strategic analytics initiatives.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and enforce data quality rules across ingestion pipelines and data catalogues.
- Set up and manage enterprise data catalogues encompassing metadata, lineage, and asset classification.
- Recommend and implement data governance tools and platforms suited to the organization.
- Engage business users across units to co-design governance guardrails, policies, ownership, and stewardship models.
- Drive the data mastering strategy from ingestion through to consumption while ensuring seamless operational visibility.
