Manage the Data Governance team, partnering with LinkedIn's technology organization and functional stakeholders to develop, expand, and mature a wide data governance program. Identify problems, collect and organize information, and analyze data to design solutions. Collect and organize information from a variety of sources, such as databases, human capital transactional applications, and hiring application tracking systems or hiring systems and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). Set the enterprise data governance strategy and formalize and mature the governance operating model and frameworks for the organization. Collaborate with functional teams and legal/privacy to establish and maintain data policies and standards that enable use-cases and ensure legal/ethical compliance. Establish the governance and quality standards for the organization's data management, insights production, and ensure monitoring, measurement, and compliance across the organization. Gather input from workers or subject-matter experts. Define and execute data governance operational processes (e.g., data quality measurement) in accordance with policies and standards, clearly articulating roles, and responsibilities. Drive cultural change ensuring data governance initiatives are understood and adopted by the organization. Work with senior leaders, global technology execution teams and business functions, to design solutions that sustainably drive data standardization, insights enablement, and high-quality data analytics lifecycle. Own the enterprise data governance alignment with key organization stakeholders and prioritization of the business's use cases and data activities. Analyze collected data and extract information relevant to the problem being addressed. Establish and enhance data governance knowledge management capabilities (i.e. glossary tools, training, and communications). Develop and test quantitative models, support software, and analytical tools. Support the Data governance Executive team with communication of key governance priorities and successes across the enterprise as needed. Write memos, reports, and other documents explaining their findings and recommendations for managers, executives, and other officials. May telecommute. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Management, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer, analyst or business-related occupation. LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $209,394.00 to $252,000.00 / year. Compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, or certifications. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, benefits or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
