Company Description:

Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants and other experts builds close relationships with each customer, providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection and operational strategies. The Performance Foodservice team delivers delicious food, but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.

Position Summary:

A Warehouse Receiver efficiently and accurately unloads, checks, tags and stages pallets of vendor inbound product and readies for put-away.

Position Responsibilities:

Scan job function into labor clock, prepare paperwork and dock area for receiving inbound products, Unload palletized products from trailers and place in receiving area, break down and sort mixed product pallets for appropriate warehouse stocking, secure products on pallets, tag pallets appropriately. Must be able to operate the following equipment: end control rider pallet truck (PE), slip sheeter, counterbalanced sit-down rider truck, MTC battery changer/pallet truck; narrow/aisle stand-up rider lift truck (RR) while wearing fall protection, counterbalanced stock picker truck and rider pallet truck (center-control). Other projects or duties as assigned

•630pm or done (40 hour week)

Required Experience:

6 Months

•1 Year of warehouse and/or distribution work experience. Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position. Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift. Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout shift. Able to work in multi-temperature environments, (cooler, freezer and dry).

Preferred qualifications:

• Foodservice distribution experience.
