Job Details Category Job Opportunities Status Open Posted September 9, 2026 8:30 AM Closing Open Until Filled The Village of Waunakee is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and forward-thinking municipal leader to serve as its next Village Administrator. This position offers the opportunity to lead a growing organization, work alongside an engaged Village Board and experienced staff, and help shape the decisions that will guide Waunakee in the years ahead. The new Administrator will succeed a retiring Administrator who has served the Village for 16+ years. The Village Administrator serves as Waunakee's chief administrative officer, reporting directly to the Village Board and providing leadership across the organization. The Administrator oversees day-to-day municipal operations, supports the effective delivery of Village services and works closely with the Village Board to carry out its priorities for the community. The anticipated salary range is $160,000 to $180,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The Village offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System, paid parental leave, generous vacation time, and more.
