1 year. About the Role We are seeking a skilled Machine Programmer III to join a high‑performance manufacturing team supporting advanced engineering programs. In this role, you will develop and optimize CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs for multi-axis machines and contribute to the production of high-precision components used in critical applications. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and shop floor teams to deliver quality-first, repeatable machining processes and achieve first article success on complex parts. Key Responsibilities Develop and modify NC/CNC programs for: CNC Mills CNC Lathes Multi-axis machining centers Vertical Turning Lathes (VTLs) Translate engineering designs into efficient machining strategies Create and maintain detailed setup sheets and process documentation Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and manufacturing teams to optimize production Design and develop custom tooling and fixtures Provide
DFM/DFMA
feedback to improve manufacturability Perform program verification using simulation tools (e.g., Vericut or equivalent) Establish appropriate feeds and speeds, cutter paths, and machining parameters Ensure configuration control of programs and job records Support first article inspections and product acceptance Drive continuous process improvements in machining and workflows Maintain safety and compliance in a manufacturing environment Minimum Qualifications Minimum 4+ years of CNC/NC programming experience Strong proficiency with: Siemens NX (Unigraphics) CNC programming for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines Experience with program verification tools (e.g., Vericut) Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME

) and blueprint reading Experience with: Tool and fixture design Setup sheet creation and documentation Feed and speed calculations Hands-on experience machining materials such as: Inconel Stainless steel Aluminum alloys Familiarity with DFMA principles Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication Proficiency with computers and precision tools Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong collaboration skills and ability to build professional relationships Preferred Qualifications Experience with Mastercam (2017 or later) Prior machinist experience Exposure to process automation or AI in CNC programming Key Skills CNC Programming Multi-axis Machining Siemens NX (Unigraphics) Vericut / Simulation Tools Blueprint Reading & GD&T Tooling & Fixture Design Setup Sheet Development Machining Strategy Development
