This position works closely with Engineering, Production, Planning, Quality, Accounting, and other departments to troubleshoot system issues, develop solutions, improve reporting, automate processes, and support the effective use of manufacturing and business applications. Responsibilities Support, maintain, and improve manufacturing and business software applications. Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, database processes, and data interfaces. Develop or modify programs and internal tools using Visual Basic, VB.NET, and other programming or scripting languages. Troubleshoot application, database, reporting, and system integration issues. Work with users to understand operational requirements and translate business needs into system solutions. Develop reports, utilities, and automated processes to improve workflow efficiency, data accuracy, and visibility. Support integrations between ERP/MRP, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and other company systems. Assist with application upgrades, implementations, testing, configuration, and system enhancements. Identify opportunities to improve existing applications and automate manual processes. Support data integrity and consistency across company systems. Maintain documentation for applications, databases, interfaces, and system changes. Learn and support specialized applications used within the PCB manufacturing environment. Work collaboratively with Engineering, Production, Quality, Sales, IT, and other departments on system and process improvements. Qualifications Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Knowledge of Visual Basic, VB.NET, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages. General understanding of software applications, databases, reporting, and system integration. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand business processes and translate user requirements into technical solutions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Ability to learn new applications, technologies, and manufacturing processes. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
