This position provides programming to support sustainment and upgrades to the Center Operations On-line data base that uses a web-based application to enhance user interface to the database. Apply knowledge and ability to use the following: C#, VB, .Net, and understand .Net Framework, SQL database, program T-SQL scripts, and HTML Apply knowledge of computer and network systems architectures, operating systems, network administration and data management. Understand database platforms, expansion, configuration control, backups, and design and implement system security. Support as an effective member of the development team in computer programming languages to review, analyze, code, document, and specify requirements and products. Support help desk "trouble tickets" to correct user access or data field entry errors or recover loss data and provide instruction on correct use of the system Support customer Sprint cycles and apply an understanding of Scrum/Agile software development Plan and carry out assignment, completed work is reviewed in terms of meeting requirements.Salary Range:
79,000 - 90,000 Must obtain Security+ certification withing 6-months of employment and maintain the certification. Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance. Must have a valid, current state driver's license. Master's Degree in a related field; or a Bachelor's Degree with 3 years' experience in a related field; or Associate's Degree with 5 years' experience in a related field; or a high school diploma with 8 years' experience in a related field. Must have professional knowledge of applicable engineering concepts and principles and a familiarity with related engineering fields. Candidate must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.
