Robotic Welding Programmer / Technician Naugatuck, CT Job Details Full-time $23 - $28 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Fabrication Defect detection (quality control) Teamwork Robotic welding Maintaining an organized workspace Robotic systems Fanuc Equipment troubleshooting Mid-level Quality inspection Blueprint reading Equipment maintenance Manufacturing Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description RAM Specialty Fabrications is looking for an experienced Robotic Welding Technician to help support and grow our robotic welding operations. We currently operate a THG MIG Welding Robot Collaborative System with Universal Robot controls and a Serra Laser LightBot with LightWELD and Fanuc CRX interface. This position is for someone with real hands-on robotic welding experience who can program, set up, operate, troubleshoot, and improve robotic welding processes in a production fabrication environment.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate robotic welding systems Troubleshoot programming, fit-up, and weld quality issues Adjust weld parameters and optimize performance Inspect parts for quality and consistency Work with production and engineering to improve processes Maintain equipment and keep work area safe and organized
Requirements:
Experience with robotic MIG welding Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Preferred:
Experience with robotic laser welding Familiarity with Universal Robot, Fanuc CRX, and LightWELD systems Experience improving robotic welding processes and efficiency Competitive pay based on experience.
Pay:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
