Job Description Day-to-Day:

• Design, code, and troubleshoot Crestron automation and control systems
• Develop custom user interfaces for integrated solutions
• Integrate AV equipment, smart devices, and control platforms
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and installation teams
• Monitor Tier 2 network performance and maintain situational awareness
• Conduct proactive network analysis and system health checks
• Identify and resolve network connectivity issues
• Validate device and application configurations
• Maintain awareness of theater backbone changes affecting Tier 2 systems
• Ensure seamless functionality of integrated control and networking solutions

Insight Global is seeking a Crestron Programmer SME for a top technology-focused federal client. This individual will support the design, programming, integration, and sustainment of advanced Crestron automation and control solutions while also providing oversight and support for Tier 2 network environments. The ideal candidate will combine deep Crestron programming expertise with strong networking knowledge to develop custom user experiences, integrate complex AV and smart-device ecosystems, perform proactive network analysis, and troubleshoot connectivity issues. This is a highly visible role supporting mission-critical operations and requires an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility. • Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance with SCI Eligibility
• CompTIA Security+ Certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Strong experience with Crestron programming
• Proficiency in Crestron SIMPL, Crestron Studio, and/or Crestron Home
• Networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with automation and control systems
• SME-level experience: ○ BA/BS + 10+ years relevant experience, OR ○

HS/GED + 15

years relevant experience, OR ○

AA/AS + 12

years relevant experience, OR MS + 5 years relevant experience

• Experience supporting Tier 2 networks
• AV systems integration expertise
• Theater backbone/network infrastructure experience
• Custom UI development experience
• Experience performing proactive network analysis and health checks Knowledge of strategic-to-tactical communications environments
