Job Description
AFCEC/CXA
onsite at Tyndall AFB, FL. Job Duties & Responsibilities- Conduct test design and planning, data acquisition planning, test goals and procedures planning, safety plan development in conjunction with other requirements, test range test approval, relevant technical proposal evaluations, and other duties and activities necessary to execute EOD test and evaluation activities.
- Perform
EOD RDT&E
activities including design of test components and testing facilities; advanced computer modeling and analysis techniques; field engineering support for EOD testing and operation. Perform detailed design and analysis of modernized EOD TTPs and equipment. The analyst shall be responsible for design and management of EOD and unexploded explosive ordnance mitigation tests- Conduct analysis and financial tracking for all projects related to
EOD RDT&E
activities. This shall include periodic reporting of technical and programmatic progress as required by the Government and shall include meeting and conference attendance and presentation of current activities and technical progress. The EOD analyst shall be responsible for writing reports, presentation material, technical papers, patents, and publications- Provide expert advice on EOD processes and procedures, equipment and materials, to provide the most benefit to the Government
- Work with internal and external project designers and engineers to create detailed 2D and 3D visual representations of projects/products.
- Assist in the creation of CAD models, CNC programs, software, drawings and feasibility documentation needed
- Provide input to interpret drawings, plans and specifications and act or make recommendations based on preliminary data interpretation or analysis.
- Research and obtain standards and codes for EOD required by AFCEC to develop plans.
- Support program management reviews and assessment activities
- Perform administrative tasks including internal tracking of suspense and identifying issues. Recommend COAs to resolve issues and if COA accepted by the government assist with implementing COAs. Follow-up on issues in a debug and support role to ensure issue resolution.

- Knowledge o Proficiency in test design and planning, data acquisition planning, test goals and procedures planning, and safety plan development.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey concepts to diverse audiencesSoftware:
Proficiency using MS Office software including Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint and advanced Adobe skills preferredSelf-Starter:
Highly motivated to improve organizational efficiency, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines autonomously Experience & EducationExperience:
A minimum of Eight years of applicable/related experience, with a minimum of five years of experience working in an EOD field is required.Education:
A bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Management, or an applicable/related field. Physical Requirements- Ability to stand/walk/climb/kneel/crouch and remain in a stationary position/sit at least 60% of the time
- Ability to operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
- Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs.
