You set up and operate milling centers and, when needed, turning centers with close tolerances. You translate blueprints, samples, and manuals into efficient tool setups and clear, reliable machine instructions. You verify first-piece and in-process quality using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and edge finders. You document sign-offs, logs, and production reports without fail. You troubleshoot problems, adjust programs, and optimize tooling and cutting parameters. You pitch in wherever needed and help keep production on schedule. Must-haves High School Diploma or GED preferred. Comfort reading complex blueprints and applying GD&T. Experience with CNC controls, G-code, M-code, and changeovers for production runs. Proficiency with precision hand metrology and deburring to customer requirements. Independent, safety-first mindset; strong organization and attention to detail.
