Requirements of the Wire EDM Programmer/Operator Technical/vocational training or 5+ years of relevant machining experience. Experience programming and operating Wire EDM equipment. Ability to create 2- and 4-axis programs using CAD/CAM software. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints. Strong knowledge of tooling, metals, machining, dies, and forming processes. Strong shop math skills, including algebra and geometry. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities of the Wire EDM Programmer/Operator Read and interpret prints and verify requirements before machining. Program, set up, fixture, and operate Wire EDM equipment. Adjust machine parameters and settings to optimize production. Inspect finished components to ensure quality and dimensional requirements are met. Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain necessary supplies and tooling. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work closely with engineering, production, and other departments to meet production requirements. Follow ISO/IATF, safety, environmental, and company procedures. 1st shift, DIRECT HIRE Pay is $33.00 - $35.00 an hour, based on experience
