EDM Programmer

Job Description:

Programmer Join our team as a Programmer working in a state-of-the-art aerospace manufacturing facility. You will play a crucial role in the manufacturing lab, collaborating closely with the engineering team to refine and optimize manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Operate and program the EDM machine, specifically the FG Cut 350 model. Collaborate with the engineering team to receive and process parts once all initial processing is completed. Optimize and iron out the manufacturing process for released parts. Assist with the inspection of parts, including loading onto the CMM and performing hands-on inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and plug gauges. Engage in offline programming of the EDM machine. Essential Skills Proficient in EDM machine programming and operation. 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong experience in machining. Solid understanding and application of GD&T principles. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Loves Park, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
